Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 24, 2026
WRDB SCP ("WRDB," "we," "our," or "us") operates the WRDB mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information we collect automatically when you use the App, and information we receive from third parties.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, password (which is securely hashed and never stored in plaintext), and optionally your full name. You may also provide a username, display name, profile picture, bio, and style preferences. During onboarding, we ask for your age range and gender to personalize your experience.
When you use the App, we collect photos of clothing items you upload from your camera or photo library, Outfit of the Day photos you choose to share, and any feedback or customer support communications you send us.
We automatically collect information about your interactions with the App, including feature usage, outfit generation events and preferences, how often you wear items, and occasion preferences. We also collect device and technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, language settings, and performance metrics.
We collect your approximate location only when you request weather-based outfit recommendations. Location data is used solely to retrieve weather information from Apple WeatherKit. We do not continuously track your location or store location history.
If you sign in using Apple Sign-In, we may receive your name and email address (or a relay email if you choose to hide your email).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the App, including creating and managing your account, storing your wardrobe, and saving your outfits. We use your data to personalize your experience by generating AI-powered outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe, style preferences, weather, and occasions.
We process your photos to analyze clothing images and automatically identify item type, color, pattern, material, brand, and other attributes using machine learning. We use your information to enable social features that allow you to follow other users, share OOTD posts, and interact with the community.
With your consent, we send push notifications including OOTD reminders and social activity updates. We display advertisements that may be relevant to your interests based on your usage and preferences. We analyze usage patterns to improve our services and enhance app functionality, and we respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
3. How We Process Your Photos
When you upload a photo of a clothing item, the image is securely transmitted to our servers. Our machine learning systems analyze the image to remove the background for cleaner display, identify garment attributes such as type, color, pattern, material, brand, size, and condition, and generate vector embeddings for outfit matching and recommendations.
Processed images are stored securely in our cloud storage and are only accessible to you unless you explicitly share them through OOTD posts with your chosen visibility settings.
We do not use your photos for any purpose other than providing the wardrobe and outfit recommendation features of the App. We do not use your photos to train AI models outside of your personal account.
4. Advertising
We display advertisements in the App through Google AdMob. To show you relevant ads, we may share certain information with advertising partners, including your age range and gender from your profile, your top clothing categories, occasion preferences, general style keywords such as "fashion," "clothing," and "shopping," and the current season.
You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Even with personalized ads disabled, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to your interests. We participate in Apple's SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving ad attribution measurement.
Google AdMob may use mobile advertising identifiers such as Apple's IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) to serve personalized ads and measure ad effectiveness. You can limit ad tracking by going to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, and disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track." You can reset your advertising identifier by going to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Apple Advertising.
When you enable "Limit Ad Tracking" or deny tracking permission, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads only. For more details, see Google's advertising policies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We use third-party service providers to operate and improve the App. Supabase provides database hosting, authentication, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy). Apple WeatherKit provides weather data for outfit recommendations (apple.com/legal/privacy). Google AdMob provides advertising services (policies.google.com/privacy). TelemetryDeck provides privacy-focused analytics when enabled (telemetrydeck.com/privacy).
If you choose to make your profile or content public, other users may see your username, display name, profile picture, bio, public OOTD posts, and follower and following counts.
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase located in the European Union (eu-central region). Images are stored in cloud storage with signed URLs that expire after one hour for security.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plaintext. Row-level security ensures users can only access their own data. Session tokens are securely stored in your device's keychain.
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Account data including your email and profile information is retained until you delete your account. Wardrobe items, photos, outfits, OOTD posts, and social data are retained until you delete them or your account. Outfit rejection data is automatically deleted after 30 days. Behavioral analytics are retained for up to 90 days. Device tokens for push notifications are retained until you disable notifications or delete your account. Customer support communications are retained for up to 2 years after resolution.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain data for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.
7. Automated Decision-Making and AI
We use artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance your experience. When you upload a garment photo, our AI automatically analyzes the image to identify clothing attributes such as type, color, pattern, material, brand, size, and condition. This helps organize your wardrobe without manual data entry. Our AI generates outfit suggestions based on your wardrobe, style preferences, weather conditions, and occasions. We use vector embeddings to find similar items and create cohesive outfit combinations.
These automated processes help provide core App functionality but do not produce legal effects or significantly affect you in a similar way. The AI assists with wardrobe organization and suggestions only. You always have full control over what items to add, what outfits to save, and what to wear.
If you have concerns about automated processing, you may contact us at wardrobe@wrdb.site.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You can update your profile information at any time, delete individual garments, outfits, or OOTD posts, set your account to private so only followers can see your content, control the default visibility of your wardrobe items, and manage your notification preferences.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, and request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at wardrobe@wrdb.site.
You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, which will disable weather-based outfit recommendations. You can disable push notifications through your device settings or within the App.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at wardrobe@wrdb.site.
10. International Data Transfers
WRDB SCP is based in Spain, and your primary data is stored on Supabase servers located in the European Union (eu-central region). Your data remains within the EU for database storage, authentication, and file hosting.
However, some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Google may transfer advertising-related data to the United States. Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and additional safeguards to protect data transferred outside the EU. For more information, see Google's data transfer frameworks at policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks.
Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions by the European Commission.
11. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose. You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. You have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, though we do not sell your data. You have the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
We do not sell your personal information. Under CCPA/CPRA, sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale." When you enable "Limit Ad Tracking" on your device or use a Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat this as an opt-out request and serve only non-personalized advertisements.
To exercise these rights, contact us at wardrobe@wrdb.site.
12. European Privacy Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. You have the right of access to your personal data, the right to rectification of inaccurate data, the right to erasure (also known as the "right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
We process your personal data under the following legal bases. Account creation and management, wardrobe storage and outfit features, photo analysis using AI/ML, and social features are processed under contract performance. Push notifications, personalized advertising, and weather-based recommendations are processed based on your consent. Non-personalized advertising, analytics and app improvement, and security and fraud prevention are processed under legitimate interest. Legal compliance is processed under legal obligation.
Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you can withdraw consent at any time. To opt out of personalized ads, go to Settings, then Privacy, then Apple Advertising, and disable "Personalized Ads." To disable push notifications, go to Settings, then Notifications, then WRDB. To disable location access, go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Location Services, then WRDB, and select "Never." Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are in Spain, you may contact the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos at www.aepd.es. If you are in another EU Member State, you may contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
To exercise your GDPR rights, contact us at wardrobe@wrdb.site.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
